The Orion XTRPRO102D is built for serious bass performance. Specifically, it is designed as a 10 inch dual 2 ohm competition car subwoofer. Built for Extreme Power Handling
To support high power levels, the XTRPRO102D uses a UV-coated reinforced paper cone. Moreover, it features a durable Santoprene surround. Together, these materials help control cone movement while keeping bass tight and accurate.
At its core, the subwoofer includes a 2.5-inch aluminum-wound voice coil on a Kapton former. As a result, heat control is improved during heavy use. In addition, dual flat Conex spiders with loop-stitched tinsel leads help keep the cone stable during hard movement.
A 133 oz ferrite magnet motor structure provides strong control and efficiency. Therefore, bass remains deep and powerful at higher output levels. The subwoofer is also built on a proprietary cast aluminum frame, which adds strength and helps improve cooling.
